Mumbai: Race 2, the sequel to the hit action thriller of 2008 Race, is all geared up to hit the screens all over in the beginning of next year on January 25th 2013. The film stars the likes of Saif Ali Khan, John Abraham, Anil Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, Jacqueline Fernandez and Ameesha Patel in main leads. The movie has been quite high in the air and all eyes are set on the release. Abbas-Mustan have directed the film like the prequel. The directors’ duo is famous for churning out suspense action thrillers and they give an international Hollywood touch to the movies they make.
Race 2 has been in news due to a number of reasons and the most important is its starcast. We are aware of the vivid fact of Deepika Padukone, who left the film after shooting some of the scenes of the film due to some Hollywood project offered her at that time. Then we know very well the dispute emerged between the producer and the actress. Finally the actress had to obey the rules and regulations since she had signed the deal with the producer.
Well, the latest about the film is that Jacqueline Fernandez has been given the look of Hollywood biggie Angelina Jolie in Race 2. The makers say that she had been stylized like Angelina as the directors’ duo wanted to give her a pure international style and look. Her look has been inspired from Jolie’s look in the movie Salt.
Jacqueline is much excited with her look and she seems confident about her look to be liked a lot by moviegoers. Well, now we are waiting for the release since the buzz is quite high for the film and its content. When the likes of Abbas-Mustan are behind, the project is bound to hit the jackpot. But their last release ‘Payers’ could not ignite any magic at all.
