CBS Releases 2012-2013 Schedule: Another Change for 'Two and a Half Men'

ALTYet another change for Two and a Half Men: This fall the CBS sitcom will move from its comfortable spot at 9 PM on Mondays (which will soon be occupied by 2 Broke Girls) to 8:30 PM on Thursdays with fellow ratings champ The Big Bang Theory as its lead-in. The comedy double-header will go up against NBC's funny and drastically different (albeit significantly less-watched) tag team 30 Rock and Up All Night and ABC's new drama Last Resort. But their biggest competition will be up against Fox, who will have a Britney Spears-centric X Factor results show in the fall andAmerican Idol when it takes over midseason. While there's no telling how the two popular comedies will fare against X Factor, considering Two and a Half Men hit a series low in the ratings in April. But in its favor, The Big Bang Theoryhas already bested Idol in the ratings on Thursdays.

The only other noticeable change to CBS's 2012-2013 lineup is the move of drama The Mentalist to the already jam-packed Sunday. The show will air at 10 PM after The Amazing Race and The Good Wife and will tango with ABC's newbie 666 Park Avenue and NBC's steadfast Sunday Night Football.
