Jab Tak Hai Jaan to release in Pakistan

Mumbai: There have been rumors and many speculations about Yash Raj Films’ upcoming film, ‘Jab Tak Hai Jaan’ not releasing in Pakistan. A lot has been said about the topic and there were even certain reports about the ban of the movie in the country. But now the fans of Shah Rukh KhanKatrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma can take a soothing breathe since the film is now set to release in Pakistan. The latest reports say and the sources claim that the movie’s release has been decided by the authorities and Jab Tak Hai Jaan may see the daylight for sure.
The sources say that the movie might not release on its release day i.e. 13th November rather than it will release on November 16th on Friday. The film has been directed by the late filmmaker Yash Chopra who passed recently due to dengue fever. It is Yash Chopra’s last directed movie. The movie has been made under the banner of Yash Raj Films.
Since Pakistan is Bollywood’s biggest market, as both the countries share the same customs and traditions and Bollywood stars are adored hugely like Indian do, Hindi filmmakers show much interest in releasing the film in Pakistan.
Earlier this year, Yash Raj Films’ Ek Tha Tiger and Saif Ali Khan’s Agent Vinod were banned to release in Pakistan since both the movies carried the content which was against the sentiments of Pakistanis. The Pakistani authorities say that Yash Raj Films have assured them Jab Tak Hai Jaan does not have any plot which will disturb or hit the sentiments of Pakistanis.
Shah Rukh Khan plays an army officer in the film who is posted in Jammu and Kashmir. Let’s see and wait the further updates on the matter.
