Mumbai: There was a big buzz in the media about the new and fresh pairing of Kareena Kapoor and Ranveer Singh for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s new project ‘Ram Leela’. The film started getting a lot of headlines after the film and the pairing was announced. Since Kareena is a big leading star of Bollywood and Ranveer is a newcomer in the industry, this ignited lot news.
Now the latest is that Kareena Kapoor’s rival Priyanka Chopra has been roped in to the project. Kareena Kapoor is no more in this venture of Bhansali. The exact reasons have not been disclosed and even the official announcement of Priyanka Chopra’s stepping into the shoes of Bebo has also not been made so far. But the insiders confirm the news.
The insiders also reveal that the main reason could be Kareena Kapoor’s marriage which is to be held on October 16th this year. Sanjay wanted to start the shooting of the film from July but now due to Kareena Kapoor’s exist from the cast, the beginning of shooting has been postponed. Hopefully the movie will go on floors from August or end of August after Priyanka arrives back in town from Europe where she is enjoying vacations these days.
Sanjay wanted the bulk dates from Kareena for the movie but she liked having break due to her high profile upcoming marriage. This might have become the main reason of Bebo’s exist from the starcast. Sanjay Leela Bhansali wanted fresh pairing for this project thus he roped in Kareena and now since Kareena is out, he gets another big name of the industry Priyanka Chopra.
Hopefully soon the official announcement of the change of the leading actress in the film will be announced by Bhansali. Lets’ wait till then and also wait to see the movie going on floors.
