The mesmerising performance of Isha Sharvani has left one and all wonderstruck on the Jhalak Dikhla Jaa sets. She is a contestant of Jhalak Dikhla Jaa season 5, and the ace director Karan Johar comments that Bollywood has grossly underused the beautiful lady’s talent. During the shoot of the next episode of Jhalak Dikhla Jaa, Karan Johar in fact apologised to Isha Sharvani saying Bollywood directors lacked their eyes to see the talent of the actress.
Karan further added that Jhalak Dikhla Jaa is the one platform with which she is able to show her talent fully. And after this Karan hopes Isha will be noticed by the film industry, since she is a brilliant performer. Karan Johar is co-judging this season of Jhalak Dikhla Jaa with actress Madhuri Dixit and choreographer Remo D’Souza.
The 27 years old actress Isha Sharvani is a trained dancer, an expert in dance forms like Kathak, Chhau and Kalaripayattu. She performs the aerial acts and lifts excellently. She is poised. In movies like “Kisna” and “Luck By Chance” she has already shown her dancing skills. Isha is also working on Bejoy Nambiar’s film which is an edgy one, named “David”, which is to release in Hindi as well as Tamil languages, is set to hit the theatres by the end of the year 2012.
Isha Sharvani born in Gujrat, and her parents are the founder of Academy for Art Research, Training and Innovation in Kerala near Trivandrum. Over the last seven years, this dancing diva has performed in twenty two different countries, and is popular for her acrobatic moves. She is also the lead dancer of Daksha Sheth Dance Company.
Isha Sharvani said earlier acting in films was never on cards, but one call from showman Subhash Ghai, changed her life overnight. She debuted as the supporting actress in the film “Kisna : The Warrior Poet” which also starred Vivek Oberoi.
